Jupiter rules Punarvasu, with Mercury, ruler of Gemini, ruling as well. Together, Mercury and Jupiter combine to bring the potential for intellectual and spiritual wisdom.

Mother Goddess Aditi, is the ruling deity of this Lunar Mansion. Aditi is the earth goddess who grants abundance, wealth and substance (vasutva prapana shakti). Above, it's power brings wind or air. Below, it brings wetness or rain. Together they revitalize the earth and her inhabitants.
Punar means "repeat" or "again. Vasu is a ray of light, a jewel, prosperity. Punarvasu revitalizes our energy, gets the inspiration flowing and renews our creativity.
The Shadow side of Punarvasu is experienced through over analyzing or over intellectualizing our life experiences or an inability to make up our minds.
