In what ever area of our lives that Saturn touches, we are required to "grow up", embrace responsibility for what we are creating in our life and to build solid foundations that support our growth, creation and personal evolution.
Saturn also represents the authority figures in our lives, those who tell us what to do and believe they know best and what we should be doing with our lives.
They will continue to show up in whatever area of our lives that Saturn is currently touching (by house and sign) until we begin to take responsibility for our own lives and what we are creating.
We need to own our own power, wield it wisely and stop giving it away to others. We need to realize that we alone, are the authors of our life stories and refocus our time and attention on building a solid foundation and structure that allows us to bring our heart-felt desires down to earth and into reality.
We need to respect the rights and decisions of others to be the authors of their own lives as well, and allow them to learn the lessons and gain the experiences needed to discover the wisdom and gifts that they deserve and access through the choices that they make.
For the past two years, Saturn has been traveling through (sidereal) Libra. There has been a focus on a more mature approach to partnership and communication within our partnerships.
We've had to balance our own needs with the needs of others in our lives and the written and unwritten contracts that we live our lives by and to deal with issues with greater fairness and diplomacy.
Much has been learned with Saturn's journey through Libra.
Many have settled down and started families, some relationships have broken up as a result of lessons learned, while others in our lives that we thought would never grow up and settle down have chosen to do so.
Saturn now moves into (sidereal) Scorpio, where "still waters run deep" on (November 1st) and for the next 3 years we will learn a great deal about self-empowerment, healing and our own use of power in our lives.
Secrets, especially the secrets that we keep from ourselves will be revealed. We will dance with the shadow, shedding a light beneath the surface and bring the deeply ingrained habits and the unconscious psychological drives that drive us, into the light of conscious awareness.
We will all face some death and endings in some area of our lives but in acceptance of the inevitability of change and a willingness to move on through the seasons of our lives, we will be transformed.
On our journey with Saturn in (sidereal) Scorpio, we will learn to share, learn to build trust and true intimacy with others in our lives but especially with ourselves.
It's an opportunity to clear the residue and rebuild the emotional foundations of our lives and transform our body temples, so we can rise to new levels of life experience and living.
It's an opportunity for true transformation and rebirth, a chance to build something solid and real in the area of your life that Saturn is currently transiting.
Miraculous Healing occurs when we partner with the Shadow and can name and bear witness to our pain (and the pain of those around us) without judgment or a need to fix, change or make it be different than what it is.
It's deep and intense work, but on our journey with the wise Teacher Saturn in (sidereal) Scorpio, we'll re-discover, re-member and re-integrate hidden potential and unique talents that lie buried deep within us and free up tremendous amounts of energy and creativity.
The Uranus-Pluto squares that we've been moving through for the past three years have been harsh and intense but have helped to pave and clear the way and now we can dive deeply within, recognize the bounty and reclaim the treasure.
Saturn will remain in (sidereal) Scorpio from November 1, 2014 until late October 2017, briefly dipping into (sidereal) Sagittarius from January - June 2017 before rolling back into Scorpio during his annual Retrograde in late June and then finally progressing into a two year journey through (sidereal) Sagittarius in late October 2017.
